Zhongxing Wang obtained his bachelor’s degree of biological science in Liaoning University. He joined in Cui’s Lab in Fall 2020 and his main studying field is evolutionary genomics of fish. He is currently working on comparative genomics and population genetics of two Paradise fishes Macropodus hongkongensis and M. opercularis, combining molecular experiments, behavioral experiments and bioinformatics analysis, to explore the relationship between adaptive introgression and genetic load. He loves fitness, outdoors and delicious foods (except pork).
